As a family childcare provider, I am not a babysitter. I am an early childhood professional. My goal is to provide a safe and happy place for children where they can learn and grow on their own pace-physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured, yet flexible, schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem and independence are also goals for the children. The children will be taught to respect each other, adults, and property. I promote school readiness through play. My intent is to give them a loving foundation from which they can reach for the stars! In doing this, parents can go to work, comfortable in knowing their child is well cared for and having a fun-filled day.
